Review/comment: The soldier's feelings towards war are the only feelings a person would have. He was scared of war and did not like being in the center of horrible ways of dying and having pride while you die because it is pride not for yourself but for your country. If the soldier were in Iraq, than he may feel similar feelings but we would never know if he chose to express his feelings because they may be very disturbing and too difficult for him to reveal.

Review/comment: The book was dissapointing, it dredged on and i found myself disgusted and scornful towards Henry and his companions. I fully hope that the rest of Stephen Cranes novels do not bore me as this one has, for then I fear he would be in need of a new career field

Review/comment: We had to read this book in school this year... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, to be blunt. In all fairness, there were two people in my class who liked the book, but most people simply hate it completely. Just an opinion. Oh, and English teachers everywhere: Don't make your students read this one. Pick some other Civil War novel. Gracias!

Review/comment: well I would have to say my teacher rcommended my 4th period class to watch the Red Badge of Courage. and from my point of view I absolutely liked it with a passion my only concern is Im lost on the point why did he give the name of the movie The Red Badge Of Courage is because Henry stood out more than the other companions or just didnt want to be considred as a bad leader and all he wanted too do was make his mother and father proud of him or even notice him.
