Review/comment: This book kept me wanting another edition. I am sad that it ended so-I could read this wonderful and suspensful book forever, it was an absolute thrill to be apart of a whole new worls that keeps me wondering what is really what? I recommend this book to thrill seekers and those who just want to escape for a while to a place that will make you wish there was a door to enter.

Review/comment: Excellent story! Kept my interest for the whole reading. Lots of twists and turns, mystery and even a love story to go with the adventure. Wonderful!

Review/comment: I really found this book very interesting and I looked forward to each new chapter. Sad to say, with obvious good reason, I grew increasing wary of who I considered the villain, Hooja the Sly One. Disappointed is the best way to sum up how I feel now that I have finished. Looking forward to watching the 1976 movie adaptation staring Doug McClure as explorer David Innes and Peter Cushing as professor Abner Perry. I this site has included Edgar Rise Burroughs earlier novel "The Land That Time Forgot".
